Palaces
- Palace of the Valencian Gouvernement , in Gothic style.
- Conference Palace, a modern building.
- Cervelló Palace, 18th century building.
- Music Hall Palace, modern building, inaugurated in 1987.
Arts and Sciences
The City of Arts and Sciences was created by two architects: Calatrava and Candela. This was inaugurated on 16th April 1998. It is constituted by:
- Prince Philip Science museum (dinosaur shaped) is an interactive museum with three floors.
- Oceanografic is the biggest aquarium of Europe.
- Hemisferic (eye shaped) with a cinema inside and a planetarium.
- Umbracle, a big Botanic Garden.
- The Palace of Arts Reina Sofia (boat shaped) with many interesting rooms dedicated to music and art.

The City of Arts and Sciences is situated in the South-east zone of the centre. It occupies 350.000 mt2 in the old bank of river Turia. This is a ultra-modern complex. It was created to attract many tourists all year long. This was a successful creation because now this city hosts the biggest aquarium of Europe, the science museum, the planetarium and a lot of shows which made this place the second most visited place of Spain.
